A live album that covers Park Jae-jung's concerts from 2022 to 2024.

Singer Park Jae-jung will be releasing a live album containing new songs, [Self-composed songs | THE LIVE ALBUM], on the 24th.

[Self-composed song | THE LIVE ALBUM] is a live album containing the past concerts of Park Jae-jung, who enlisted in the army in May of last year and is currently serving in the military following the huge success of 'Let's Break Up'.

Park Jae-jung, who has been holding concerts every year since 2021 under the name "Letter," held his last concert in 2023 under the name "Alone," the same title as his album, and in January 2024, right before his enlistment, under the name "And." According to his agency, Park Jae-jung made numerous arrangements for the concerts with splendid sessions and collaborations with orchestras, presenting high-quality performances, and fans flooded in with requests for the release of live albums after each concert. In response, Park Jae-jung prepared a live album containing the "Letter 1.5" concerts in 2022, the "Alone" concerts in 2023, and the "And" concerts in 2024.

This album, consisting of a total of 13 songs, was reportedly completed after Park Jae-jung's enlistment, with the agency's staff working hard for over 5 months to fully capture the live feeling of each song while also ensuring perfection in terms of sound.

This album includes the most perfect live performance of Park Jae-jung's most representative song, "Let's Break Up," as well as songs with different arrangements from the existing sound sources, such as "One Step," "I Liked It," and "As Much As I Loved It" and "If I Could Be Born Again," which can mostly only be heard at concerts. It is filled with songs that Park Jae-jung's fans will go wild about.

Also, the new song 'Self-composed' is placed as the first track as a kind of bonus track. 'Self-composed' is a song that producer Park Jae-jung made for Kim Chang-woon on Mnet's 'Extra Large Karaoke Survival VS' that aired in 2023, and it is also a song that fans requested in Park Jae-jung's version. After much deliberation, the demo version that Park Jae-jung recorded at the time was mixed in the latter half and released as an audio source.

The actual album of [Self-composed song | THE LIVE ALBUM] is packaged in the same way as Park Jae-jung's first full-length album 'Alone', and includes a separate photo booklet containing footage from past concerts.

가수 박재정이 신곡이 포함된 라이브 앨범 [자작곡 | THE LIVE ALBUM]을 오는 24일 발표한다.

[자작곡 | THE LIVE ALBUM]은 '헤어지자 말해요'의 큰 성공 이후, 지난해 5월 현역 육군으로 입대해 군 복무 중인 박재정의 지난 콘서트 실황을 담은 라이브 앨범이다.

2021년부터 '편지'라는 이름으로 콘서트를 매년 해온 박재정은 2023년에는 본인의 앨범과 동명의 타이틀인 'Alone'이라는 이름으로, 입대 직전이었던 2024년 1월에는 'And'라는 이름으로 마지막 콘서트를 선보였다. 소속사에 따르면 박재정은 콘서트를 위해 화려한 세션들과 오케스트라와의 협연으로 수많은 편곡을 하며 완성도 높은 공연을 선보였고, 매 콘서트마다 라이브 앨범 발매 요청이 팬들에게 쇄도했다. 이에 박재정은 2022년의 '편지 1.5' 콘서트, 2023년의 'Alone' 콘서트, 2024년의 'And' 콘서트를 모은 라이브 앨범을 준비했다.

총 13곡으로 구성된 이 앨범은 각 실황 현장감을 충분히 살리면서도 사운드적인 완성도를 위해서 박재정의 입대 이후 소속사 스태프들이 5개월 이상 매진해 후반 작업을 완성시켰다는 후문.

이 앨범은 박재정의 가장 대표곡인 '헤어지자 말해요'의 가장 완벽했던 라이브가 포함됐고, 기존 음원과는 편곡이 달라진 '한 걸음', '좋았는데' 등의 노래들을 비롯해 주로 콘서트에서만 들을 수 있는 '사랑한 만큼', '다시 태어날 수 있다면' 등 박재정의 팬들이라면 열광할 노래들로 채워져 있다.

또한 일종의 보너스 트랙처럼 신곡 '자작곡' 음원이 1번 트랙으로 배치돼 있다. '자작곡'은 지난 2023년 방송된 Mnet '초대형 노래방 서바이벌 VS'에서 프로듀서 박재정이 김창운에게 만들어줬던 노래로, 박재정 버전의 음원을 들려달라는 팬들의 요청이 쇄도한 노래이기도 하다. 이에 오랜 고민 끝에 당시 박재정이 녹음했던 데모 버전을 후반 믹싱작업을 거쳐 음원으로 공개하게 됐다.

[자작곡 | THE LIVE ALBUM]의 실물 앨범은 박재정의 정규 1집 'Alone'과 같은 패키지로 구성되며, 지난 콘서트 실황들이 담겨있는 사진집 속지가 별도로 담겨있다.
