이번 <히어로> O.S.T는 특히 전 곡이 힙합을 중심으로 구성되어 눈길을 끈다. 대부분의 드라마 O.S.T는 극중 상황에 맞춰 다양한 장르의 곡들로 구성되는 것이 일반적. 그러나 이번 <히어로> O.S.T는 힙합 콜렉션이라 불러도 좋을 정도로 일관된 구성을 보여준다. OCN <히어로> O.S.T를 기획 제작한 CJ E&M 음악사업부문에 따르면 “정의가 사라져버린 어두운 미래를 그리는 드라마 <히어로>의 분위기가 힙합이라는 장르와 잘 맞아떨어졌다. 드라마의 팬들은 물론 힙합 매니아들에게 좋은 선물이 될 것”이라고 전했다.
