Since their debut in April 2019, DKZ (Dcage), which has been expanding its musical and performance spectrum by challenging and digesting its own music atmosphere and various concepts, has returned with a new member under a new team name.

Overall, the concept that runs through this album, announcing the first start as DKZ who has grown a little more, is 'boys who move hearts'. If the first series of 'CHASE', which started after its release on July 1 last year, was a story about living one's life happily by following 'GGUM (dream)', the second series 'MAUM (heart)' released this time is DKZ It is a story of growing up into boys who move (captivate or captivate) people's hearts.

The title song of this album, which will be released on April 12th, 'Cupid' expresses all the meaning with one line of the lyrics below.

The boys fell in doomed love after being struck by Cupid's arrow. The conductor who wrote their love story and melodies was Cray bin, who was in charge of producing again following the title song 'CRAZY NIGHT' of 'CHASE EPISODE 1. GGUM'. The magician who expressed the feelings of having his heart stolen through choreography is director Bae Wan-hee, who also worked with DKZ's past songs such as LUPIN, FEVER, and Universe.

This is the first album released to the public by DKZ, who has been reorganized into a 6-member group. This album, where change and original intention coexist, can be said to be the album that best expresses DKZ's musical concept while working with new members.

2019년 4월 데뷔 이후 독자적인 음악 분위기와 다양한 컨셉들을 도전하고 소화하며 음악적, 퍼포먼스적 스펙트럼을 넓혀 가고 있는 DKZ (디케이지)가 새로운 팀명으로 새로운 멤버와 함께 돌아왔다.

전체적으로 조금 더 성장한 DKZ로서의 첫 시작을 알리는 이번 앨범을 관통하는 컨셉은 '마음을 움직이는 소년들'이다. 작년 7월 1일에 발매 후 시작된 'CHASE'의 첫 번째 시리즈가 'GGUM (꿈)'을 좇아 자신의 삶을 즐겁게 살자는 이야기였다면 이번에 발매되는 두 번째 시리즈 'MAUM (마음)' 은 DKZ가 다른 사람의 마음을 움직이는 (사로잡는 혹은 사로잡힌) 소년들로 성장하게 된 이야기이다.

4월 12일 발매되는 이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 '사랑도둑 (Cupid)'은 아래의 가사 한 소절로 모든 의미를 표현한다.

'아무 말도 없이 나타나 내 마음을 모두 가져가…'

Cupid의 화살에 맞아 운명적인 사랑에 빠진 소년들. 그들의 사랑 이야기와 멜로디를 써 내려간 지휘자는 'CHASE EPISODE 1. GGUM'의 타이틀곡인 '못된 송아지 엉덩이에 뿔 (CRAZY NIGHT)'에 이어 또 한 번 프로듀싱을 맡은 Cray bin이며, 한순간에 사랑에 빠져 자신의 마음을 도둑맞은 심정을 안무로 표현한 마술사는 역시 DKZ의 지난 활동 곡인 LUPIN, FEVER, Universe 등을 함께한 배완희 단장이다.

6인조로 개편된 DKZ가 대중들에게 선보이는 첫 앨범. 변화와 초심이 공존하는 이번 앨범은 새로운 멤버와 함께 하면서도 DKZ의 음악 컨셉을 가장 잘 표현해낸 앨범이라 할 수 있다.
