[The Fractal] is the debut album of the band INPHASE, an album that presents a new path for Korea-Korea metalcore.Fractal refers to a structure in which small structures repeat in a form similar to the whole structure.
Just like a fractal figure in which a random part forms the shape and structure of the whole, the five members project their thoughts and ideals, and each song on the album forms an organism, realizing the ideal of metal that the members dream of. This is an album that draws.
INPHASE's music is based on authentic metal core, but here Death Metal, DJENT, Post-Hardcore and various modern metal elements are harmonized to overwhelm listeners with the sound of a consistent combination. 'Lost Cause', a track that stands out for its dynamism that explodes immediately after the intro, 'The Fractal', a title track that maintains the solidity of the overall structure while putting forth splendid technique, and a melody caught in an extreme bass-tuned guitar riff. All 10 tracks, including the outstanding 'Our Apocalypse' and the unexpectedly unique lyricism of 'Struggler', maintain the unity of sound but do not give up their individuality.
The Fractal is an album in which each member mixes and melts the best of what each member can show, not aiming for clumsy popularity or catchiness in the barren Korean metal field, but instead aiming for a straight-line method.
This album represents those who feel frustrated and helpless due to social or personal issues of this era, but also sings support for the fierceness and tenacity to overcome somehow. Just like finding order in chaos, we hope you will find the beauty of melody in exploding sound and find your own rules in complex technique and experience the ideal fractal drawn by INPHASE.

대한한국 메탈코어의 새로운 길을 제시하는 앨범, 밴드 INPHASE의 데뷔작 [The Fractal]Fractal이란 작은 구조가 전체 구조와 비슷한 형태로 되풀이되는 구조를 말한다.
임의의 한 부분이 곧 전체의 형태와 구조를 이루어내는 Fractal 도형처럼 다섯 멤버가 평소에 품었던 생각과 이상을 투사하고, 앨범에 수록된 각각의 곡들이 하나의 유기체를 이루며 멤버들이 꿈꾸는 메탈의 이상을 그려내는 앨범이다.
INPHASE의 음악은 정통적인 메탈코어를 바탕으로 하고 있지만, 여기에 Death Metal과 DJENT, Post-Hardcore및 다양한 모던 메탈의 요소가 하나로 어우러져 시종일관 빈틈없는 조합의 사운드로 청자를 압도하고 있다. 인트로 이후 곧바로 쉴새 없이 폭발하는 역동성이 돋보이는 트랙 'Lost Cause', 화려한 기교를 내세우면서도 전체적 구조의 탄탄함을 놓지 않는 타이틀 트랙 'The Fractal', 극단적인 저음 튜닝된 기타 리프속에서 캐치한 멜로디가 두드러지는 'Our Apocalypse', 특유의 서정성이 의외로 다가오는 'Struggler' 등 10개의 트랙 모두 사운드의 통일성을 유지하면서도 각각의 개성 역시 포기하지 않는다.
