뜨거웠던 지난 여름, 듣고싶어로 대중들을 설레이게 했던 다이아가 2개월만에 "굿밤"으로 돌아왔다.
이번 앨범은 트와이스의 ’시그널’ , IOI ‘너무너무너무’ 수지의 솔로 앨범 ‘yes no maybe’ 등을 작업 또는 편곡했던 김승수와 손을 잡은 신곡 ‘굿밤’이 포함되었으며, 프로그램 참가로 인해 잠시 팀을 떠난 예빈과 솜이의 기습 발표곡이였던 '시월에 설악산' 등을 수록한다.
늘 함께하는 팬들을 생각하며 이번 앨범을 준비한 다이아는 과거, 현재, 미래로 구분되는 시간 중 '현재' 와 '선물'를 뜻하는 단어인 PRESENT(선물)를 앨범명으로 결정하였다.
