The title song of [REAL+] is Yoon Sang's work, 'The Story Only I Didn't Know', and it is a minor ballad song that combines Yoon Sang's unique nostalgic codework with melody. With its differentiated structure and arrangement of instruments, this song offers a uniqueness that is different from the existing minor ballad songs. The simple yet beautiful scale of real instruments perfectly harmonizes with IU's restrained voice. Unlike IU's previous songs that sang liveliness and innocence, 'The Story Only I Didn't Know' shows IU's more mature sensibility and detailed interpretation of the song.

[REAL+]의 타이틀곡은 윤상의 작품인 ‘나만 몰랐던 이야기’로 윤상 특유의 노스탤지아 코드워크와 멜로디가 결합된 마이너 발라드 곡이다. 차별화된 구조와 악기배열로 기존 마이너 발라드곡과는 다른 특별함을 만날 수 있는 이 곡은 간결하면서도 아름다운 리얼 악기들의 스케일이 아이유의 절제된 보이스와 완벽한 조화를 이루고 있다. 그 동안 발랄함과 순수함을 노래했던 아이유의 기존 곡들과는 달리 ‘나만 몰랐던 이야기’는 한층 성숙해진 아이유의 감성과 세밀한 곡 해석력을 만나볼 수 있다.
