YERIN's third solo album 'Rewrite' has been released.

Yerin, who has always shown a new side of herself through various changes and challenges, transforms into a magician with powers in this album. Yerin's power to make everything that has been broken new and clean makes the pain and darkness we have experienced disappear, and this album contains the meaning of gaining strength again and giving us the courage to live anew. The story of love and pain experienced in life in Rewrite, and the growth that overcame all of this, is contained in 6 songs in stages like a drama.

Feel our diverse world, where various colors are dyed like waves when we are together, 'VV Wavy!'

The title song of the third mini album, 'Wavy', is a song created for Yerin by GALACTIKA*, a composing team that has produced hit songs for many artists including ITZY, WJSN, and Billie. It is a refreshing house-style song that expresses Yerin's signature bright and bubbly energy. The groovy bass, rhythmic brass section, and gorgeous string lines become one like waves, adding a layer of excitement to the story that expresses a world dyed like waves.

Additionally, '햇누(SHINE)', a Pop Rock genre song with a vintage Rock sound guitar and rough drum sound, contains a story about always shining light and becoming strength in a world dyed in various colors, and 'Permeate', which contains a story of confusion and wandering when light disappears and dark blood spreads throughout the body, losing abilities, is a retro pop genre song that reconstructs the Burlesque style with a funky triplet rhythm structure often used in musicals and movies into a K-pop style.

Also, unlike before when I could do everything with my own strength, in a situation where I can't do anything, what's truly important is not my ability but you and us, so I want to go see you again, and 'Save Me' is a tragic yet desperate love story. It is an R&B song with impressive string sounds that simultaneously play pizzicato and staccato, and 'One Thing' is an old-school hip-hop genre song that boasts chemistry between seniors and juniors, featuring Kep1er member Kim Da-yeon. It contains a story about how the wounds and pains I've experienced so far were my growing pains, and how I endured the painful times and became stronger with my memories with you. The last track, '4U', is a 2000s house genre song that creates a sophisticated sound with the harmony of funky and cheerful instruments and romantic top lines, and it shows the brilliant light that unfolds again with my ability, and it contains the message of enjoying this summer together, decorating the finale of the fairytale-like 6-part story.

예린(YERIN)의 세 번째 솔로 앨범 'Rewrite'가 발매됐다.

다양한 변화와 도전을 통해 새로운 모습을 늘 선보였던 예린, 이번 앨범에서는 능력을 보유한 마법사로 변신한다. 망가진 모든 것들이 새롭게 되고 깨끗해지는 예린의 능력은 이전에 겪었던 우리의 아픔과 어둠마저 사라지게 해주며 다시 또 힘을 얻어 새롭게 살아갈 용기를 더해주고자 하는 의미가 담긴 앨범이다. Rewrite의 삶에서 겪는 사랑과 아픔, 그리고 이 모든 것을 이겨낸 성장에 대한 스토리를 하나의 드라마처럼 6곡에 단계별로 담아냈다.

미니 3집의 타이틀곡 'Wavy'는 ITZY(있지), 우주소녀, Billlie(빌리) 등 여러 아티스트의 히트곡을 보유한 작곡팀 GALACTIKA*가 예린을 위해 선사한 곡으로, 예린이 가지고 있는 특유의 밝고 통통 튀는 에너지를 표현한 청량한 하우스 스타일의 곡이다. 그루비한 베이스와 리드미컬한 브라스 섹션, 화려한 스트링 라인이 물결처럼 하나가 되어, 웨이브처럼 물들여지는 세상을 표현한 스토리가 한 층 깊은 설렘으로 더해진다.

더불어 빈티지한 Rock 사운드 기타와 거친 질감의 드럼 사운드로 이루어진 Pop Rock 장르의 '볕뉘(SHINE)'는 여러 색으로 물든 세상 속에서 항상 빛을 비추어 힘이 되겠다는 스토리가 담겨있으며, 빛이 사라지고 온몸에 어두운 피가 퍼져 능력이 없어지는 혼란과 방황의 스토리를 담아낸 'Permeate'는 뮤지컬이나 영화에 많이 사용되는 펑키 한 트리플렛 리듬구성의 Burlesque 스타일을 케이팝 스타일로 재구성 한 레트로 팝 장르의 곡이다.

또한 나의 힘으로 모든 것을 해 나갈 수 있었던 예전과는 달리 아무것도 할 수 없는 상황에 정말 중요한 건 나의 능력이 아닌 너와 우리이기에 널 다시 보러 가고 싶다는 비극적이면서도 절실한 사랑 이야기가 담긴 'Save me'는 피치카토와 스타카토가 동시에 나오는 스트링 사운드가 인상적인 R&B 곡이며, 케플러(Kep1er)의 멤버 김다연이 피처링에 참여해 선후배 간의 케미를 자랑하는 올드스쿨 힙합 장르의 곡 'One Thing'은 그동안 겪은 상처와 아픔들은 나의 성장통이었으며, 너와의 기억들로 아픈 시간들을 버티고 강해졌다는 스토리를 담아냈다. 마지막을 장식하는 트랙 '4U'는 펑키하고 경쾌한 악기들과 로맨틱한 탑 라인의 조화가 세련된 사운드를 만드는 2000년대 하우스풍 장르의 곡으로, 나의 능력으로 다시 펼쳐지는 찬란한 빛을 보여주며 이 여름을 함께 즐기자는 내용을 담아내어 동화 같은 6편의 스토리의 대미를 장식하였다.
