Isolomon's second mini album <Flipping the palm>

The second mini-album by poet and singer-songwriter Lee Solomon
An album that highlights the producer's skills as well as his songwriting and composition skills.

The title of the album is inspired by the Chinese character '여반장(如反掌)' which means as easy as turning over one's palm. I produced the album with the mindset of 'empathizing with others', meaning that what is easy for me may be difficult for someone else, and what is difficult for me may be easy for others.

After the gentle 'Dream', 'Ode to Youth' follows with an acoustic piano melody. In the previously released single album, the voice crying out for help in the latter half of the song was impressive, but in this album, the piano replaces the voice and ends with a crescendo that becomes increasingly stronger.

'Honestly, Idiot' is a rock song that can be heard only in band albums, but through JOKER's arrangement, it was reborn as a sharper and psychedelic modern rock. The title song 'You Who Didn't Cry That Much' is also a song that highlights JOKER's sensuous arrangement, and his restrained electric piano performance leads Lee Solomon's voice more lyrically.

It seemed like it would end smoothly with the local 'Way Home', but it ended with 'Let's Talk Nicely' featuring a dreamy tape echo sound, expressing that the beginning and the end are still a dream. The album cover features Solomon's playful expression when he was one year old, and it will also include childhood photos that have not been revealed before.

이솔로몬 두 번째 미니 앨범 <손바닥을 뒤집듯>

시인이자 싱어송라이터 이솔로몬의 두 번째 미니 앨범
작사 작곡은 물론 프로듀서의 역량이 돋보이는 앨범

앨범의 제목은 손바닥을 뒤집는 것처럼 쉽다는 뜻의 한자어 '여반장(如反掌)'에서 착안했다. 나에게 쉬운 것이 누군가는 어렵고, 나에게 어려운 것이 남들에게는 쉬울 수 있다는 '역지사지(易地思之)'의 마음으로 앨범을 제작했다.

잔잔한 '몽중'(夢中)이 끝나면 어쿠스틱 피아노 선율과 함께 '청춘예찬'이 이어진다. 기존에 발매한 싱글 앨범에서는 곡의 후반부에 나를 구원해 달라고 절규하는 목소리가 인상적이었다면, 이번 앨범에서는 그 목소리를 대신해 피아노가 점점 강하게 고조되는 크레셴도(Crescendo)로 끝나는 것이 인상적이다.

'솔직한 건 바보야'는 밴드 앨범에서나 들을 수 있는 록음악으로 JOKER의 편곡을 거쳐 좀 더 예리하고 사이키델릭 한 모던록으로 재탄생했다. 타이틀인 '그렇게 잘 울지도 않던 당신이' 역시 JOKER의 감각적인 편곡이 돋보이는 곡으로, 그의 절제된 일렉트릭 피아노 연주는 이솔로몬의 목소리를 더 서정적으로 이끈다.

재지 한 '퇴근길'로 순조롭게 끝날듯하다가, 몽환적인 테이프 에코 사운드가 돋보이는 '말 좋게 합시다'로 마무리되면서 시작과 끝은 여전히 꿈 속임을 표현했다. 앨범의 커버는 솔로몬이 한 살 때의 익살스러운 표정을 담고 있으며, 그동안 공개하지 않았던 어린 시절 사진도 포함될 예정이다.
