My first love, whom I never thought I would meet again.
Composing a song that started with the question, 'What if I ran into my first love by chance?' was a series of thrills. I wanted to conceive of a verse that starts with only the guitar and voice, and the sound of the drum kick that follows expresses the surprise of the reunion and the beating heart at the same time. And for the chorus that shouts 'I never thought I'd see you again' with all the instruments, I wanted to make the moment of reunion dramatic. It was really fun to see the pictures being completed one by one after each recording of the musicians who participated in the arrangement.

언젠간 다시 만날 수 있지 않을까 생각했지만,
정말 다시 만날 줄은 몰랐던 나의 첫사랑.
'첫사랑과 우연히 마주치게 된다면 어떨까?'라는 질문에서 시작된 곡작업은 설렘의 연속이었어요. 기타와 목소리만으로 시작하는 벌스를 구상하고, 이후 나오는 드럼 킥 소리는 재회에 대한 놀람과 동시에 두근거리는 심장을 표현하고 싶었어요. 그리고 모든 악기와 함께 '널 다시 만나게 될 줄 몰랐어'라고 외치는 후렴은, 재회의 순간을 드라마틱 하게 만들고 싶었죠. 편곡에 함께 참여해 준 연주자분들의 녹음이 끝날 때마다 하나씩 완성되어가는 그림을 보는 게 정말 즐거웠답니다.
