An ambitious band that came out to add color to the world'D.COY''s first single album, 'COLOR MAGIC'
5 types of 'COLOR MAGIC' notice a fresh blast in the music industry!
Ruby (Jungmin), Onyx (voice actor), amethyst (Hyukjin), Sapphire (Genshin), Moonstone (Doseon).
D.COY, who has their own gemstone, is trapped in different time and space for some reason.
They find clues in the confined space and set out to find each other.
D.COY, who has a world view of 5 gemstones and time and space, plans to reveal a new story by expanding the world view in the album to be released in the future.
The title song “COLOR MAGIC” misses the 'color' of each member's gemstones, who have five gemstones. Although separated from each other, it contains the story of finding each other through a medium that connects the members as one. The music video was filmed and produced by Johnny Bros, the best music video team in Korea, and the music video was completed with impressive colorful colors by focusing on the colors each member has in accordance with the theme of the song.
“COLOR MAGIC” is a sensuous and sophisticated synth-pop sound. The song was composed and produced by Lee Seung-ju, the composer of “Beautiful Life,” the OST for the drama “Goblin,” and the members of D.COY also participated in the work.
The second song on the album, “Come To Light,” was written/composed by D.COY’s leader, Jung-min, and contains the dark feeling of the band’s sound, which is completely different from “COLOR MAGIC.”
The mood of the song is dark, but it is a warm song where the four members who set out to find Onyx (voice actor), who is trapped alone in a space where hope and light do not exist, become a light for Onyx (voice actor).

다섯가지의 ‘COLOR MAGIC’으로 가요계의 신선한 돌풍 예고!

각자의 원석을 갖고 있는 D.COY는 어떠한 계기로 인해 서로 다른 시공간에 갇히게 된다.
갇혀 있는 공간 속에서 단서를 찾게 되어 서로를 찾아 나서게 되는데,
5개의 원석과 시공간이라는 세계관을 가진 D.COY는 앞으로 발매될 앨범에서도 세계관을 넓히며 새로운 스토리를 공개할 예정이다.
타이틀 곡인 “COLOR MAGIC”은 다섯 개의 원석을 가지고 있는 멤버들이 서로가 가진 원석의 ‘컬러’를 그리워한다. 서로 떨어져 있지만, 멤버들을 하나로 이어주는 매개체를 통하여 서로를 찾아 떠나는 스토리를 담고 있다. 뮤직비디오는 국내 최고의 뮤직비디오 팀인 쟈니브로스가 촬영하여 제작 되었으며, 곡의 테마에 맞게 멤버들이 각각 가지고 있는 컬러에 포커스를 맞춰 화려한 색감이 인상적으로 담긴 뮤직비디오를 완성시켰다.
“COLOR MAGIC”은 감각적이고 세련된 신스팝 사운드로, 드라마 ‘도깨비’OST인 “Beautiful Life”의 작곡가, 이승주가 곡 작업과 프로듀싱을 맡았으며, D.COY 멤버들도 작업에 참여한 곡이다.
앨범의 두 번째 곡인 “Come To Light”은 D.COY의 리더, 정민이 작사/작곡한 곡으로, “COLOR MAGIC”과는 완전히 다른 밴드 사운드의 어두운 느낌을 담은 곡이다.
곡의 분위기는 어둡지만, 희망과 빛이 존재하지 않는 공간에 홀로 갇힌 Onyx (성우)를 찾아 나선 네 명의 멤버들이 Onyx (성우)에게 빛이 되어주는 따뜻한 곡이다.
