Infinite. And Infinite's new unit, which has expanded their musical ambitions through various types of unit and solo activities, including Kim Sung-gyu's solo, Infinite H (Dongwoo, Hoya), and Toheart (Woohyun & Key), took off the veil at the same time in Korea and Japan. Named “Infinite F”.

Infinite F, composed of Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong, gathered fans' expectations by announcing the formation of their first unit at Infinite's encore concert in February. It was not just a surprise event, but the blueprints for the successful launch of Infinite F were drawn in both Korea and Japan, and after much thought, the decision was made to debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan. Infinite F's title song 'My heart races' contains Infinite F's unique freshness, innocence, and youth that can define the name of their debut single, “靑.” Infinite F's refreshing melody, youthful and youthful lyrics, and the clear voices of the members combine to complete 'My Heart Beats'. Both Korean and Japanese music staff decided Infinite F's own musical direction without much thought, as soon as they heard the music, they decided it was the 'title song' at once. 인피니트. 그리고 김성규의 솔로, 인피니트H(동우, 호야), 투하트(우현&키)까지 다양한 형태의 유닛과 솔로 활동으로 음악적 욕심을 확장해왔던 인피니트의 새로운 유닛이 한국과 일본 동시에 베일을 벗었다. 이름하여 “인피니트F”.

성열, 엘, 성종으로 구성된 인피니트F는 지난 2월 인피니트의 앵콜 콘서트에서 첫 유닛 결성을 선언하며 팬들의 기대를 모았다. 단순한 깜짝 이벤트가 아닌 인피니트F를 성공리에 런칭하기 위한 밑그림들이 한, 일 양국에서 그려졌고 그 고민 끝에 한국과 일본 동시 데뷔라는 결정이 내려졌다. 게다가 타이틀 곡 뿐만 아닌 싱글에 수록된 전 곡이 한국어와 일본어로 동시에 녹음 진행 되었고, 뮤직비디오 역시도 동시에 작업되는 등 동시 발매를 위한 많은 노력들이 투여되었다.

인피니트F의 타이틀 곡 ‘가슴이 뛴다’는 데뷔 싱글의 이름인 “靑”을 정의해 줄 만한 인피니트F만의 청량함, 청아함, 청춘이 한 곡에 담겨져 있다. 인피니트F만의 청량한 멜로디, 청춘과 젊음이 담긴 건강한 노랫말, 멤버들의 청아한 목소리가 합쳐져 ‘가슴이 뛴다’를 완성시킨다. 한국과 일본의 음악 스태프들 모두 음악을 듣자마자 한 번에 ‘타이틀 곡’이라고 결정했을 만큼 긴 고민 없이 인피니트F만의 음악적 방향을 결정 지어주었다. 특히 조소영 감독이 만든 ‘가슴이 뛴다’의 뮤직비디오는 한 편의 CF 영상을 보듯 인피니트F의 한 때를 아름답게 포착한다.

‘너라서’는 히트 프로듀서 스윗튠이 인피니트F를 위해 선물해 준 곡. 그동안 인피니트의 ‘내꺼하자’, ‘추격자’, ‘라스트 로미오’를 통해 최고의 호흡을 맞춰왔던 만큼 인피니트F에게 딱 맞는 기분 좋은 멜로디와 밝음을 음악으로 선사했다. ‘My Girl’은 앨범에서 가장 오랫동안 녹음에 공을 들인 곡으로 멤버 성열의 개구장이 같고 천진난만함과 성종의 거짓말 한 번 안 해본 것 같은 순수함, 엘의 소년스러움이 개개인의 목소리로 각자의 매력이 가장 잘 녹아들어 있는 곡이다.

인피니트F. 누군가는 F의 이니셜을 Flower라고 말하고 누군가는 Face라고 말하며 누군가는 Forever라고 말한다. 인피니트F는 그 무엇이어도 좋다. 한 사람, 한 사람에게 그 무엇일 수만 있다면.
