지난해 7월 미니 9집 [Golden Hourglass]를 발매하고 타이틀 곡 '여름이 들려 (Summer Comes)'로 청량한 에너지를 보여준 오마이걸이 1년 1개월만에 미니 10집 앨범 [Dreamy Resonance]를 선보인다.
'Dun Dun Dance'부터 '살짝 설렜어 (Nonstop)', 'Dolphin', '여름이 들려 (Summer Comes)' 등 청량함 가득한 서머 송으로 매년 많은 이들을 설레게 했던 오마이걸은 이번 미니 10집 앨범을 통해 새롭지만 오마이걸 다운, 오마이걸만이 보여줄 수 있는 모든 것을 담은 앨범 [Dreamy Resonance]로 팬들에게 감동의 메시지를 전한다.
몽환적인 울림, 공명이라는 의미를 담고 있는 앨범 명 [Dreamy Resonance]는 지난 21년 발매된 미니 8집 앨범 [Dear OHMYGIRL]의 수록곡 '나의 인형 (안녕, 꿈에서 놀아)'에서 모티브를 가져와 오마이걸만의 몽환적인 콘셉트의 정수를 보여준다.
팀 특유의 아름답고 몽환적인 분위기를 극대화한 이번 앨범에서 오마이걸은 어릴 적부터 나의 곁에서 늘 함께한 애착인형처럼, 데뷔 10년차를 맞이한 오마이걸의 음악을 듣는 모든 이들에게 따뜻한 위로를 건넨다.
또한, 이번 앨범은 멤버 미미가 랩 메이킹에 참여, 멤버 효정이 유닛 곡 'Love Me Like You Do'의 아름다운 가사를 담아 냈으며, 김이나, 서지음, 라이언전, 모노트리 등 유명 작가진들이 참여하는 등 음악적 변화와 스펙트럼을 넓힌 완성도 높은 앨범으로 탄생하였다.
