Panda Bear Vol.2 [VERTIGO]Beat maker and influential hip-hop producer Panda Gom is back with his 2nd regular album [VERTIGO], 2 years after the release of his 1st regular album [sleeptalking] and joint album [Bambooclub A,B] with Lillermalz. The album title, taken from Vertigo (1954), a masterpiece of Hitchcock, the best film director in history, reads as it is pronounced and means 'vertigo' in English. It is an album containing In the album, artists who are famous in the domestic hip-hop scene participate as a featured member and raise expectations.
Also, the most noteworthy tracks in this album are the 9th track 'Failan' and the 10th track 'Wonderful', which sampled the late Kim Kwang-seok's 'Around 30' and 'With the Mind that I Should Forget' for the first time in Korea. Panda Gom's agency, Bamboo Studio, introduced that this musical attempt was made possible thanks to the relationship between producer Panda Gom's father and the late Kim Kwang-seok's art director. 판다곰 정규 2집 [VERTIGO]비트메이커이자 영향력 있는 힙합 프로듀서인 판다곰이 정규 1집 [sleeptalking], 릴러말즈와의 공동 앨범 [Bambooclub A,B]를 발매한지 어언 2년 만에 정규 2집 [VERTIGO]로 돌아왔다. 역사상 최고의 영화감독이라는 '히치콕'의 대표작 Vertigo(1954)에서 따온 앨범 제목은 발음 그대로 읽으면 '버티고', 그 영어 의미 자체로 보면 '현기증'이라는 뜻으로 음악을 만들고 성장하면서 판다곰이라는 프로듀서가 느낀 성장통을 담아낸 앨범이다. 앨범에는 국내 힙합 씬에 내로라하는 아티스트들이 피처링진으로 참여하며 기대를 모은다.
