La Poem went on to a hopeful tomorrow, giving warm comfort and sympathy when 'SUNRISE' began after fighting 'THE WAR', a stormy war cast by the 'full moon' in search of the 'oasis' in the desert that they had been searching for so long. Prepare for a new prelude to finish the fierce fight and seize the crown with a stronger appearance.
La Poem chose 'The Alchemist' as a positive message to calm the devastated mind in a war-like life and pledge to take a new leap forward. This album, which will show the power to face fate without breaking as an independent self, condenses the sensibility that has been polished as if it were alchemy.
Choi Sung-hoon's solo lyrics writing, Yoo Chae-hoon's composition and jacket shooting, all members actively expressed their opinions from the initial concept, and the members' participation is more prominent than ever. Jung Min-seong improved the quality of the sound source by leading the overall mixing stage of the sound source, and Park Ki-hoon raised the completeness of each track by coming up with various ideas suitable for the song.
It is expected that the ensemble formed by combining La Poem's narrative, emotion, and vocals in a variety of genres, including pop, rock, and electronica as well as authentic crossovers, will remain magically in the hearts of many people as if they were performing alchemy in music. .
The title song 'The Fire' contains the determination to overcome any hardships and adversity by lighting a small fire in the heart stronger. Following the previous work 'THE WAR', producers ENAN and Sun Ahn, who delicately worked on the curves of La Poem's unique energy, drew the sword of the narrative just for La Poem early on. The intense vocal energy gives a deep impression and makes all listeners draw their own narrative of overcoming their destiny.
Prior to this, the pre-released song 'Anchor' was improved with the participation of producer Brother Su, who is outstanding in the K-POP scene by working with BTS, Blackpink, and MONSTA X. La Poem's signature sorrowful yet magnificent vocals deliver heartfelt consolation.
The other tracks are also dotted with a mysterious and majestic atmosphere like alchemy through music, raising expectations. The intro 'Find The Light' announces the start of the first journey following a small ray of hope in the darkness that was the background of the previous work 'THE WAR'.
The track 'We'll stay', written by member Seonghoon Choi for the fandom 'LA VIEW', also stands out. The moment you listen to each other's hearts on a long journey, it contains a message of friendship and hope to a comrade who walks through the desolate desert together. In the verse part, member Park Ki-hoon's excellent tone and Jung Min-sung's sweet vocals harmonize perfectly to complete a fairytale-like track.
The track that will give you the energy of the last twist is 'Blast'. It contains lyrics that burn the courage to face a huge destiny and the will to overcome any hardships to come. Leader Chaehoon Yoo participated in the composition along with Jun One of the band 'Glencheck', showing a grandeur beyond grandeur through the combination of intense electronica sound and crossover.

그토록 찾아 헤맸던 사막의 '오아시스'를 찾아 '만월'이 드리운 폭풍 같은 전쟁 'THE WAR'를 치르고 'SUNRISE'가 시작될 때, 따듯한 위로와 공감을 건네며 희망찬 내일로 나아갔던 라포엠. 치열한 싸움을 끝내고 더 강해진 모습으로 왕관을 거머쥐기 위한 새로운 서막을 준비한다.
라포엠은 전쟁 같은 삶에서 황폐화된 마음을 추스르고 새로운 도약과 웅비를 다짐하는 긍정의 메시지로 'The Alchemist'를 선택했다. 주체적인 자아로서 꺾이지 않고 운명에 맞서는 힘을 보여줄 이번 앨범은 연금술을 연마하듯 갈고 닦은 감성을 응축했다.
최성훈의 단독 작사, 유채훈의 작곡 및 재킷 촬영 작업까지 멤버 모두가 초기 콘셉트부터 적극적으로 의견을 개진해 그 어느 때보다 멤버들의 참여도 두드러진다. 정민성은 음원의 믹싱 전단계를 전반적으로 주도하며 음원의 퀄리티를 높였고, 박기훈은 곡에 걸맞는 다양한 아이디어를 내며 각 트랙의 완성도를 높였다.

타이틀곡 'The Fire'에는 어떤 고난과 역경이 와도 더 강하게 가슴 속 작은 불씨의 불을 지펴 극복하겠다는 각오가 담겼다. 전작 'THE WAR'에 이어서 라포엠 특유의 에너지의 굴곡을 섬세하게 작업한 프로듀서진 ENAN, Sun Ahn이 일찌감치 라포엠만을 위한 서사의 칼을 빼들었다. 강렬한 보컬의 에너지가 깊은 여운의 감동을 선사하며 듣는 이들 모두가 자신만의 운명 극복 서사를 그리게 한다.
이에 앞서 공개되는 선공개곡 '닻 (Anchor)'은 방탄소년단, 블랙핑크, 몬스타엑스 등과 작업하며 K-POP 씬에서 뛰어난 활약을 펼치고 있는 프로듀서 브라더수가 참여해 완성도를 높였다. 라포엠 특유의 처연하면서도 웅장한 보컬이 가슴 벅찬 위로를 전한다.
