In November 2023, all the songs from the 2nd full-length album [POWER ANDRE 99] were released for the first time at a solo performance of the same name, announcing the release of the regular album in Silica Gel's new way. Even before release, various attempts that went beyond everyone's expectations further amplified public expectations.

In particular, this album is a full-length album released 7 years after the first full-length album [Silica Gel] released in 2016. It contains 18 diverse pieces of music that only Silica Gel can deliver with complete perfection and meets the public's expectations. I will do it. This is an album that makes us look forward to not only the remarkable performance and growth that these people, who have now established themselves as an irreplaceable noun in the band scene, through their second full-length album, but also how they will captivate the public with new and diverse music in the future.

The 2nd full-length album [POWER ANDRE 99] is the final destination of Silica Gel's long journey to find the identity of Machine Boy, which started with the single [Mercurial]. If you listen to the album in order from beginning to end, you will finally find out what Machine Boy was discovered by Silica Gel and what POWER ANDRE 99 is.

2023년 11월, 정규 2집 [POWER ANDRE 99]의 모든 수록곡을 동명의 단독 공연에서 최초로 공개하며 실리카겔만의 새로운 방식으로 정규 앨범 발매 소식을 알렸다. 발매 전부터 모두의 예측을 벗어난 다양한 시도들은 대중의 기대감을 더욱 증폭시켰다.

특히 이번 앨범은 지난 2016년 발매한 정규 1집 [실리카겔] 이후 7년 만에 선보이는 정규 앨범으로, 오직 실리카겔만이 들려줄 수 있는 18개의 다채로운 음악을 완성도 있게 담아냈고 대중이 기대했던 것 이상을 충족시킬 것이다. 이제는 밴드신에서 대체 불가한 고유명사로 자리 잡은 이들이 정규 2집을 통해 보여줄 눈부신 활약과 성장은 물론, 앞으로 얼마나 더 새롭고 다양한 음악으로 대중들을 매료시킬지 기대하게 만드는 앨범이다.
