특히 이번 앨범에는 국내 최고의 팀들이 타겟을 위해 뭉쳤다. 가요계 히트곡 제조기로 유명한 Sweetune 이 전체 프로듀스에 참여했고 Mnet ‘프로듀스 101’과 ‘워너원’의 안무를 담당한 최고의 안무가 권재승 그리고 감각적인 분위기 연출로 유명한 쟈니브로스의 이사강 감독이 함께 했다.

‘Awake’는 심플한 힙합 비트 위에 샘플링된 듯 연주된 오케스트라의 조화로 이루어진 힙합 댄스곡이다. 타겟의 첫 한국 데뷔곡으로 선정된 Awake는 긴 시간 동안 준비된 곡으로 타겟의 퍼포먼스적인 특성을 위해 멤버들의 다양한 의견을 종합하여 완성되었다. 이 노래를 통해서 타겟은 그동안 쌓아온 많은 공연의 경험과 가창력, 그리고 독특한 보이스의 랩핑의 조화로 신인답지 않은 과감하고 파격적인 퍼포먼스를 보여줄 것이다. 특히 멤버 중 G.I와 우진이 가사에 참여해 멤버들이 색깔을 더더욱 살렸다.

‘아픈 건 미루자’는 경쾌하고 밝은 느낌의 댄스곡에 이별 상황을 피하고자 하는 심정을 역설적으로 표현하면서 애써 괜찮은 척하는 노랫말이 어우러져 더 애틋하고 묘한 느낌을 주는 곡이다. 일본 데뷔곡으로 국내 데뷔전인 신인으로서는 이례적으로 4만장의 판매를 이룬 ‘熱い思い(아츠이오모이)’의 한국어 버전이다. 타겟의 신인다운 풋풋하고 귀여운 모습을 엿볼 수 있는 곡이다.
