In September 2019, through the title song 'Let's Break Up' of the single album [soar], Wheein clearly imprinted the image of an emotional vocalist.
After about 1 year and 7 months, the first mini-album [Redd] was completed, and preparations were completed to show a different and wider musical spectrum from the previous work in a splendid and brilliant way.

Wheein's first mini-album [Redd] tells us to get rid of the colorless and false taste attached to our body and mind (Redd) and reveal the 'me' we really want (Red). In the concept film that was first released, it was a pure white and pretty space without any spots, but it was filled with Wheein's taste, gestures, facial expressions, and scent, showing that even if it was messed up, it was still 'Wheein'.

Wheein directly participated in the production of most of the songs in this album to show a colorful world of music that she can digest, and showed her artistic sense through the artwork throughout the album. The watercolors that he has been saving, refining, and drawing for such a long time with clear colors have been completed as a work called [Redd].

The title song 'water color' is a highly addictive song with a trendy beat based on New jack swing and Wheein's tickling yet rich vocals. This song, reminiscent of a painting with fresh colors painted with light brush strokes, delivers a bold message to listeners to paint their values more intensely, as it is fine to paint over and over again.
'water color (English Ver.)', which is the first English version of the song to be released and will capture the hearts of global fans, will be available first as a physical album and will be released later on the music site.

In addition to the title song, 'TRASH (Feat. pH-1)', which has a strange sense of tension by directly unraveling the two people's bad imagination within a few steps, and 'OHOO', which sings a languid and sweet time with the gaze of a cat, Como. 지난 2019년 9월, 싱글앨범 [soar]의 타이틀 곡 ‘헤어지자’를 통해 감성 보컬리스트의 면모를 확실히 각인시킨 휘인.
이후 약 1년 7개월 만에 첫 번째 미니앨범 [Redd]를 완성하며 전작과는 색다르고, 한층 넓어진 음악적 스펙트럼을 화려하고 찬란하게 펼쳐 보이기 위한 준비를 마쳤다.

휘인의 첫 번째 미니앨범 [Redd]는 몸과 마음에 붙어있던 무색의 거짓된 취향을 치워버리고(Redd), 본인이 진정으로 원하는 ‘나’를(Red) 드러내자고 말하고 있다. 처음 공개된 컨셉 필름에선 아무 점하나 튀지 않은 새하얗고 예쁘기만 한 공간이었지만, 휘인의 취향과 몸짓, 표정, 향기로 가득 채워 비록 엉망이 됐을지라도 그것조차 오롯한 ‘휘인’이라는 것을 보여준다.

휘인은 이번 앨범 대부분의 곡 작업에 직접 참여하여 본인이 소화할 수 있는 다채로운 음악 세계를 보여주고자 했고, 앨범 전반의 아트워크를 통해 예술적 감각을 고스란히 발휘했다. 그렇게 오랜 시간 동안 맑은 색들로 아끼고 다듬으며 쌓아 그려온 수채화가 [Redd]라는 하나의 작품으로 완성되었다.

타이틀 곡 ‘water color’는 New jack swing 기반의 트렌디한 비트 위, 휘인의 간질거리면서도 풍성한 보컬이 더해져 짙은 중독성이 매력적인 곡이다. 경쾌한 붓 터치로 싱그러운 색의 물감이 올라간 그림이 연상되는 이 곡은, 듣는 이들에게 몇 번이고 덧칠해도 좋으니 나의 가치를 더욱 진하게 그려내자는 당찬 메시지를 전한다.
처음으로 선보이는 영어 버전의 곡이자 글로벌 팬들의 마음을 사로잡을 ‘water color (English Ver.)’는 피지컬 앨범으로 먼저 만나볼 수 있으며, 추후 음원사이트에서 공개될 예정이다.

타이틀 곡 이외에도 몇 발자국 사이 두 사람의 나쁜 상상을 직설적으로 풀어내어 묘한 긴장감이 매력적인 ‘TRASH (Feat. pH-1)’, 반려묘인 꼬모의 시선으로 나른하고 달콤한 한 때를 흥얼거리는 ‘오후 (OHOO)’, 타인과 혼란스럽게 교류되는 감정을 나비의 날갯짓과 닮음으로 표현한 ‘Butterfly (Feat.
