EASTSHINE - 2nd Mini Album [LUMINOUS]

[LUMINOUS] is the second mini album presented to fans after the release of the first mini album in November 2023 and the single 'Heartthrob' in May 2024.
During that time, he poured his passion into preparing for the album as well as his busy schedule with Japanese survival programs and concerts.
Last February, the pre-release of 'Next Your Words' from the second mini album raised fans' expectations.
This activity will show the fans a more mature side of themselves, and through stages that have been prepared more in-depth than ever before, the members will be able to see their deeper musicality.

[LUMINOUS], as the title suggests meaning 'to shine', contains more mature musical colors and diverse emotions.

Robbie Nevil, the composer of 'Lucky Tonight', the title song of this second mini album, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.
As a producer, he has a track record of composing over 40 songs that have reached the top ranks of Billboard, so expectations are high for his future activities with Eastshine's title song.

In particular, with the support of Eastshine's producer, Taemin Hwang, the leader IEL actively participated in writing lyrics, composing, and arranging.
As the leader, IEL participated in producing this work and directly led the overall direction of the album, showing a more mature side of himself as an artist.

So this album contains stories about love and dreams, which are the emotions that can be felt the most during youth.

[LUMINOUS] 는 지난 23년 11월 미니 1집, 24년 5월 싱글 'Heartthrob' 발매 후 팬들에게 선보이는 두 번째 미니 앨범이다.
그동안 일본 서바이벌 프로그램, 콘서트 일정 등 바쁜 스케줄과 앨범 준비로 열정을 쏟아부었다.
지난 2월, 미니 2집 수록곡인 '다음 너의 말' 선공개로 팬들에게 기대감을 안겨주었다.
이번 활동은 팬들에게 더 성장한 모습으로 찾아와, 그 어느 때보다도 심도 있게 준비한 무대들을 통해 멤버들의 깊어진 음악성을 모습을 볼 수 있다.

[LUMINOUS] 은 '빛나다' 라는 뜻을 가진 제목처럼, 더욱 성숙해진 음악적 색채와 다채로운 감성을 담고 있다.

이번 미니 2집의 타이틀곡인 'Lucky Tonight' 의 작곡가 Robbie Nevil(로비 네빌)은 미국 국적에 싱어송라이터이자 기타리스트이다.
프로듀서로서 작곡으로도 무려 40여 곡 이상이 빌보드 상위권에 들 정도로 작품 활동을 한 이력이 있기에 이번 이스트샤인의 타이틀곡에 대해 향후 활동이 기대된다.

특히, 이스트샤인의 프로듀서인 황태민 대표에 힘 입어, 리더인 IEL이 작사, 작곡, 편곡 등 적극적인 참여를 기울였다.
리더인 만큼 IEL이 이번 작품을 통해, 프로듀싱에서도 참여하며 전체적인 앨범의 방향성을 직접 이끌어 한층 더 성장한 아티스트적 면모를 보여주었다.

: 이번 앨범은 청춘이라는 키워드가 포인트인데요. 앨범명 [LUMINOUS] 뜻은 '어둠 속에서도 빛난다 '라는 뜻입니다. 청춘은 어찌 보면 고민이 많은 노력들로 채워지는 시간들이지만, 돌아보면 가장 빛나고 좋은 추억들이 많은 시절이라 생각합니다. 그래서 청춘의 시절 중, 가장 많이 느낄 수 있는 감정인 사랑, 꿈에 대한 이야기를 담은 앨범입니다.
