HyunA&Dawn EP [1+1=1]

The splendid and beautiful things that can only be imagined in dreams are unfolded into reality.
Hyuna&Dawn's first unit EP album [1+1=1]

Hyuna, a self-proclaimed K-pop diva who is creating her own trend with unrivaled sexiness,
Singer-songwriter DAWN, who has a unique sensibility and excellent lyricist and composition sense, presents the first mini-album where two people with different charms meet and become one, not two.

In this [1+1=1], the two people's candid and unconventional music of various colors was included.
The title song “PING PONG”, which Hyuna and DAWN participated in producing, and “Deep Dive”, which captures the honest heart well with DAWN’s solo lyrics, Hyuna and DAWN participated in writing and composing the song together. The track list was filled with a total of 4 songs, including “XOXO”, which contains uncontrollable feelings toward a loved one, and “I know”, which contains a heart tired of love.

In the meantime, if the two of them have shown their own overwhelming and intense performances, I look forward to seeing how powerful the performance and gorgeous visuals will be for the title song "PING PONG" of [1+1=1], which will be performed together on stage after a long time.

“Deep Dive” is an R&B/Hiphop song with short strings, repeated synth bass, and 808 sound, written solely by DAWN, expressing the heart of falling in love honestly and sweetly.

2. PING PONG *title
The title song “PING PONG” is a Moombahton Dance song with an intense lead sound made up of Moombahton Rhythm and 808 Bass, co-written by DAWN and Hyuna. It is an impressive song that expresses the image of a couple in love with cute and popping lyrics, just like a ping-pong ball going back and forth.

3. XOXO
“XOXO” is a POP/Funky song with funky bass riffs, cheerful synth sounds, and vintage drum rhythms, co-written and composed by Hyuna and DAWN. It is expected that many lovers will sympathize with the lyrics that express their uncontrollable feelings towards their loved ones.

4. We definitely loved each other to death (I know)
“We definitely loved to death (I know)” is a tropical dance song with a Vox lead drop based on a minimal pluck sound, like a last conversation between lovers who are tired of love. It is a song that conveys the nostalgic feeling even more by hearing the voices of Hyuna and DAWN overlapping in the lyrics, “Obviously we loved to the point of death.”

현아&던의 첫 번째 유닛 EP 앨범 [1+1=1]

독보적인 섹시함으로 본인만의 트렌드를 만들어 가고 있는 자타공인 K-POP 디바 현아와,
유니크한 감성 그리고 탁월한 작사, 작곡 감각까지 지닌 싱어송라이터 던(DAWN), 각자 다른 매력을 가진 두 사람이 만나 둘이 아닌 하나가 된 첫 번째 미니 앨범을 선보인다.

이번 [1+1=1]에서는 두 사람의 솔직하고, 파격적인 다양한 색의 음악을 담았다.
현아와 던(DAWN)이 프로듀싱에 참여한 타이틀곡 “PING PONG”, 던(DAWN)의 단독 작사로 솔직한 마음을 잘 담아낸 “Deep Dive”, 현아, 던(DAWN)이 함께 작사, 작곡에 참여하여 사랑하는 연인을 향한 주체할 수 없는 마음을 담아낸 “XOXO”, 사랑에 지친 마음을 담아낸 “우린 분명 죽을 만큼 사랑했다 (I know)” 로 총4곡의 트랙리스트로 채워졌다.

그동안 두 사람 각자 만의 압도적이고 강렬한 퍼포먼스를 선보였다면, 오랜만에 함께 무대에서 선보일 [1+1=1]의 타이틀곡 "PING PONG"은 얼마나 강렬한 퍼포먼스와 화려한 비주얼로 환상의 무대를 선사할지 기대해 본다.

“Deep Dive”는 던(DAWN)의 단독 작사 곡으로 짧게 끊어지는 스트링과 반복되는 신스 베이스(Synth Bass), 808사운드의 R&B/Hiphop 곡으로 사랑에 빠진 마음을 솔직하고 달콤하게 표현한 곡이다.

“우린 분명 죽을 만큼 사랑했다 (I know)” 는 미니멀한 플럭 사운드를 기반으로 한 복스 리드 드랍의 트로피칼 댄스곡으로, 사랑에 지쳐 끝에 다다른 연인의 마지막 대화 같은 곡이다. “분명 우리는 죽을 만큼 사랑했다”라는 가사에서 현아, 던(DAWN)의 목소리가 겹쳐 들려 아련한 마음이 더욱 전달되는 곡이다.
