Yuri Cho interprets 'Waltz' as an attitude toward life. 'Y-Waltz' contains Cho Yuri's initial 'Y' and the word 'Why' at the same time, so it can be interpreted as an interpretation of the reason for 'why you dance'.

2021년 “GLASSY” 이후 8개월 만에 돌아온 조유리가 <조유리 2022 무곡집> 시리즈로 돌아왔다.
그 오프닝을 알리는 첫 번째 미니 앨범 “Op.22 Y-Waltz : in Major”는 평범한 일상의 해프닝들을 대하는 유연한 자세를 왈츠로 표현했다.

조유리는 '왈츠'를 삶을 대하는 자세로 해석한다. 'Y-Waltz'는 조유리의 이니셜 'Y(와이)'와 단어 'Why(와이)'를 동시에 내포하고 있어, '왜 춤을 추는지' 그 이유에 대한 해석으로도 풀이할 수 있다.
