Hello, this is Jun P. After a long preparation, < 1/2 > came out. Above all, I'm sorry and thank you to those who waited for a long time. I've been writing songs with various types of emotions I've felt over the past two years. I don't have a great message or big meaning, but I just want you to listen to my music comfortably.The story of <1/2> is sketched through the first track 'Drawing' and then 'The Fifth Season', like a painting where dots connect to form lines and lines overlap one by one. As the title suggests, the second song, which is not painted in a clear color, please color it while thinking of your favorite season.
I remember filling the empty space in my heart while working on 'One Dawn' and 'Monologue' with the slightly darker paints I had at the time. It was a lonely day, as if tomorrow would never come, but in the end, I hope my performance will bring you unexpected luck or relaxation, like the happiness you face when walking down the street. It's good for those who listen to the remaining half of the album called < 1/2 > to fill in the new meaning.
After all, isn't the reason why the last track is 'Interlude' instead of 'Coda', which means the end? May our chance meeting be another beginning. ? jun p dream

안녕하세요, jun p입니다. 길었던 준비를 마치고 < 1/2 >이 나오게 되었어요. 무엇보다 오래도록 기다려주신 분들께 죄송하고 또 감사합니다. 근 2년 동안 느낀 여러 가지 형태의 감정으로 곡을 써 보았는데요. 멋진 메시지나 큰 속뜻이 담겨있진 않지만 그저 편안히 제 음악을 들어주셨으면 하는 바람입니다.점이 이어져 선이 되고 선이 하나씩 포개져 완성되는 그림처럼 <1/2>의 이야기는 첫 번째 트랙 'Drawing'을 거쳐 '어떤 계절 (The Fifth Season)'으로 스케치 됩니다. 제목 그대로 뚜렷한 색을 칠하지 않은 두 번째 곡은 여러분께서 좋아하는 계절을 떠올리며 채색해주세요.
저는 그때 당시 가졌던 조금은 어두운 물감으로 '혼자 있는 방 (One Dawn)'과 '독백 (Monologue)'를 작업하며 마음의 빈 공간을 메웠던 기억이 나요. 내일이 오지 않을 것처럼 외로웠던 하루였지만, 결국 길을 걷다 보면 마주하는 행복처럼 제 연주가 예상치 못한 행운 혹은 휴식이 되길 바랍니다. < 1/2 >이란 앨범의 남은 절반을 듣는 분들께서 새로이 의미를 채워주셔도 좋아요.
결국 마지막 트랙이 종결을 뜻하는 'Coda'가 아닌 'Interlude'인 이유는 끝이 아닌 그다음이 있다는 것 아닐까요? 우리의 우연한 만남이 또 다른 시작이 되기를. ? jun p 드림
