The first album of Project Bitsnap created by drummer Kim Young-jin, who plays in various teams such as Yoon Seok-chul trio, Jeon Jun-jun group, and Kuma Park, and bassist and producer Joo-won Lee, who is actively involved in composing, arranging, and playing such as Beenzino, Primary, and Workmanship. [En Route] is released.

The two, who are active in various scenes including jazz and hip-hop, borrowed the repetitive loop idea of 'sampling' to express the sound of the rhythm section, which is their musical root, in a simple yet impactful way in this album [En Route]. Each track used a variety of sounds in a variety of ways. In particular, this album is characterized by direct production of all stages of album production, from the recording stage to mixing and mastering, and the overall idea of music was gathered and made together.

Fellow musicians also contributed to the album with their own voices. 'Riding Alone', in which guitarist Wonjun participated, has a refreshing sound, 'Can We Be Alone', with lyrics and melodies by singer-songwriter Kang Yi-chae, contains stories about certain contradictory emotions, and saxophonist Song Ha-cheol collaborated with 'Can We Be Alone'. In 'Simple Plan', you can hear his wonderful solo line. In addition, various original songs such as 'It's Ambiguous', which was recorded rough for sound check during the recording process, and 'Bitter Sweet', which became the starting point of this project, were included in the album in the color of Beatsnap.

윤석철 트리오, 전용준 그룹, 쿠마파크 등 다양한 팀에서 연주하고 있는 드러머 김영진과 빈지노, 프라이머리, 워크맨쉽 등 작,편곡과 연주로 활발히 활동하고 있는 베이시스트이자 프로듀서 이주원이 만든 프로젝트 비츠냅의 첫 번째 앨범 [En Route]가 발매된다.

재즈, 힙합을 비롯한 여러 씬에서 활동을 이어가고 있는 두 사람은 이번 앨범 [En Route]에서 그들의 음악적 뿌리가 되는 리듬섹션의 사운드를 심플하면서도 임팩트 있게 표현하기 위해 '샘플링'이라는 반복적인 루프 아이디어를 차용하였으며 트랙마다 다양한 방식으로 다채로운 사운드를 구사하였다. 특히 레코딩 단계부더 믹싱 마스터링 등, 앨범 제작의 모든 단계를 직접 프로듀싱 하며 음악의 전반적인 아이디어를 모아 함께 만들어 나간 것이 이 앨범의 특징이다.

동료 뮤지션들도 각자의 소리로 앨범에 힘을 실어주었다. 기타리스트 원준이 참여한 'Riding Alone' 에서는 청량감 있는 사운드를, 싱어송라이터 강이채의 가사와 멜로디가 더해진 'Can We Be Alone' 은 모순된 어떤 감정에 대한 이야기들을 담았으며, 색소포니스트 송하철이 함께 한 'Simple Plan'에서는 그의 멋진 솔로라인을 들을 수 있다. 이밖에도 녹음과정에서 단순히 사운드 체크를 위해 러프하게 녹음했던 '애매하더라고', 이 프로젝트의 시작점이 된 'Bitter Sweet' 등 다양한 느낌의 오리지널 곡들을 비츠냅의 색깔로 앨범에 담아냈다.
