Last fall, girl group Berry Good, who showed off her innocent charm with the British-style pop ballad 'My First Love', came back as an angel with her first mini-album [VERY BERRY] in about 7 months. The album name [VERY BERRY] is the name of Berry Good's fan club. It was chosen by the members of Berry Good themselves to express their gratitude to the fans who support them constantly, and it contains their will to achieve better results through this album activity.The title song 'Angel' is the first of the posthumous works written by the late composer Joo Tae-young, who was Berry Good's exclusive producer, for Berry Good. After So Chan-whee Tears, Joo Tae-young and Jung Sung-yoon worked together again. It is a dance-pop genre song with a cool sound that stands out with powerful vocals and singing skills. It contains a hopeful message to become an angel to those who are lonely and struggling.
In addition, 'We Been Together' by composer Nam Ki-sang, who left behind many hit songs such as Girl's Day's 'Twinkle Twinkle' and 'Expect', and three songs of 'Love Letter', 'Because of You Lately', and 'My First Love', which were previously active. It consists of 7 tracks in total. Through this album, Berry Good plans to show the team's special and sweet tone and a more mature image.

작년 가을, 브리티쉬풍의 세련된 팝발라드 '내 첫사랑'으로 청순미 넘치는 매력을 보여준 걸그룹 베리굿이 약 7개월만에 첫번째 미니앨범 [VERY BERRY]를 들고 천사가 되어 돌아왔다. 앨범명 [VERY BERRY]는 베리굿의 팬클럽명으로, 한결같이 응원해주는 팬들에 대한 감사의 마음을 담아 베리굿 멤버들이 직접 정하였으며 이번 앨범활동으로 더 좋은 결실을 맺고자 하는 의지가 담겨있다.타이틀곡 'Angel'은 베리굿의 전속 프로듀서였던 故주태영 작곡가가 베리굿을 위해 썼던 유작들 중 첫번째 곡으로, 소찬휘 Tears 이후 주태영, 정성윤 두 작곡자가 다시 뭉쳐 작업한 곡이다. 파워풀한 보컬로 가창력이 돋보이는 시원한 사운드의 댄스팝 장르의 노래로 더 그랜드가 편곡하고 미국 스털링 사운드의 탐코인 엔지니어가 마스터링 작업을 맡아 곡의 완성도를 높였다. 외롭고 힘든 이들에게 천사가 되어주겠다는 희망적인 메시지를 담고 있다.
