Track 2. No Ranger (pre-release)
It is a song about heroes who may be villains who have arrived on Earth to take over the sick earth and the ugly human world, overcoming the sweetness of the world and being active. It was directed like a heroic drama on the other hand.

대한민국을 대표하는 인디 문화 1세대 펑크 밴드 노브레인이 2016년 정규 7집 발매 이후 3년만에 8집 [직진] 앨범을 선보인다. 이번 앨범은 오랜만에 발매하는 정규 앨범인 만큼 노브레인이 표현할 수 있는 가장 넓은 스펙트럼을 보여줄 수 있도록 다양한 스타일을 곡들을 수록하는 동시에 앨범 타이틀인 [직진]이라는 단어의 의미처럼 전하고자 하는 메시지를 단순 명료하게 전달 하고 있다.Track 1. 유령잔치국수
정규 5집에 수록됐던 'Rock it Rocket'의 뮤직비디오 초반부에 삽입하기 위해 만들었던 BGM을, 더욱 기괴하면서도 신명 나는 사운드로 발전시켰다.
Track 2. 노브레인져 (선공개)
병든 지구와 추악한 인간세계를 접수하기 위해 지구에 도착한 악당인지 모를 히어로들이 속세의 달콤함을 이겨내고 활약하는 내용을 담고 있는 곡으로 마치 만화 주제곡 같은 분위기에 멤버들이 직접 코스튬 의상까지 공수해 뮤직비디오를 제작하여 한편의 영웅 드라마 같이 연출하였다.
Track 3. 같이 가보자
이번 앨범 타이틀 곡으로 신나는 멜로디와 어렵고 힘든 날이지만 이것저것 신경 쓰지 말고 같이 달리다 보면 좋은 날이 올 거라는 유쾌한 가사를 담고 있다.
Track 4. 따라와
필리핀 세부를 여행했던 이성우가 로컬 페스티벌인 싱누룩의 페스티벌송을 듣고 신나는 행진가를 연상하며 만든 곡으로 단순하게 반복되는 후렴구가 응원가, 또는 행진가를 떠올리는 곡이다.
Track 5. 쓰레기 봉투
살다 보면 느낄 수 있는 자긴 자신이 측은해 보이는 감정을 집에 가는 길에 바닥에 버려져 있는 쓰레기봉투에 빗대어 만든 곡이다. 후반 ‘니 맘이 내맘 같지 않네’가 반복되어 그 쓸쓸함이 강조되는 것 같다.
Track 6. 친구 아이가
어른이 되고 시간은 정신 없이 흐르고, 이리저리 치이면서 반복되는 생활 속에 소중했던 친구들이 점점 잊혀지지만 막상 친구는 몇 년 만에 만나도 그저 똑 같아 신기하다는 내용을 담은 지나간 어린 시절과 친구를 그리워하는 곡이다.

더운 여름을 보내기 아쉬운 꼴통들의 여름 찬양가가 새로운 마스터 버전으로 재탄생하였다.
