[원스텝]은 사고로 모든 기억을 잃은 ‘시현’(산다라박)과 슬럼프로 인해 자기 삶의 전부였던 작곡을 할 수 없게 된 ‘지일’(한재석)이 만나 음악을 통해 서로 소통하고 성장해나가는 과정을 담은 영화이다.
이번 앨범에는 총 23곡의 영화 OST가 수록되었으며, 스크린 밖에서도 영화 속에 담긴 감동과 여운을 느낄 수 있다.
가창자에는 주연 배우인 산다라박, 한재석과 폭발적인 가창력을 자랑하는 '김보경', 감성을 자극하는 목소리로 다양한 매니아층을 보유한 SS301의 허영생, 김규종이 참여하였다.
또한, 최근 인디씬에서 주목받고 있는 이아람과 16년만에 완전체로 돌아온 그룹 이브의 김세헌 그리고, 팬들을 위한 깜짝 선물로 배우 조동인까지 특색있는 가창자들이 참여하였으며, MBC [하얀거탑](2007), [선덕여왕](2009), SBS [싸인](2011), [육룡이 나르샤](2015) 등의 작품에서 뛰어난 실력을 뽐냈던 음악감독 김수진이 프로듀싱을 맡아 영화의 분위기를 한층 더 끌어올리는 다양한 음악들로 완성도 높은 영화 OST 앨범으로 평가받고 있다.
