'IOI' is an abbreviation of 'Ideal Of Idol' and has the meaning of 'the most ideal idol'. We plan to show a variety of appearances.

1st Mini Album < Chrysalis >
The album name 'Chrysalis', which 11 members thought about and decided together, means 'preparation time', and it is an album containing the dreams and hopes of the girls who made their official debut after countless hours of sweat and effort.

I.O.I's debut album 'Chrysalis' includes 4 new songs including the title song 'Dream Girls', 'IOI (Intro)', 'Knock Knock Knock', 'Doo Wap', I.O.I's version of 'Pick Me', It is a mini-album consisting of a total of 7 songs, including 'Crush' and 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fall'.

In particular, this debut album 'Crysalis' is an album that has more meaning than the official debut album for I.O.I. Members of I.O. directly participate in the main album work to give opinions and make decisions, expressing their own colors of 'real' I.O.I. You could call it an album.

I.O.I expressed their opinions and participated in the choreography composition as well as selecting the title song and b-side songs from the album title 'Chrysalis', selecting individual characters in the MV, and in the case of Lim Na-young and Choi Yoo-jung, they directly participated in the title song and intro, creating a high-quality performance. '아이오아이(I.O.I)’는 'Ideal Of Idol'의 약자로 '가장 이상적인 아이돌'이라는 의미를 지니고 있으며, 지금껏 존재하지 않았고 시도되지 않았던 형식으로 탄생한 최초의 걸그룹으로서 가장 이상적이고, 상상할 수 없었던 다양한 모습들을 선보여나갈 계획이다.
