The Boyz, the one and only boys who will awaken you by burning higher with dazzling flames, will release their ninth mini album [導火線] on October 28th.

Through the trilogy of their second full-length album [PHANTASY], THE BOYZ solidified their unique team identity as "boys" with their own unique colors of "fantasy" based on the broad theme of "We all dream of fantasy", as well as breaking the "career high" record with their diverse music and performances. At the same time, they perfectly proved their potential by holding their third world tour "Generation Ⅱ (THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION Ⅱ)", selling out all tickets for all shows.

From diverse album promotions that swept domestic and global charts to world tours, The Boyz has been on a steep rise with remarkable achievements on stages around the world, and they plan to continue their momentum with their 9th mini-album [導火線].

The ninth mini-album [導火線] is an album that contains The Boyz's explosive confidence and ambition to continue developing by lighting a fuse for a new leap forward. The album [導火線], filled with not only The Boyz's signature conceptual music and performances, but also a new story and unique color that are different from the charms they have shown so far, is enough to become the 'fuse' of growth that will prove their infinite potential.

The title track of the 9th mini album [導火線], 'TRIGGER (導火線)', starts with a strong house electro pop sound and dramatically develops into a magnificent hip hop sound, and with the keyword 'TRIGGER' meaning 'fuse' and 'trigger', it contains the ambition to create great waves and changes in the world through our movements. In addition, the 'TRIGGER (導火線)' music video presents a perfect combination of rough and explosive visualizing and extremely powerful performance, delivering an intense sense of immersion and a different kind of catharsis that you cannot take your eyes off for a single moment.

In addition to this, the album also includes the Afrobeat hip-hop genre track 'Bite Back', which was first revealed during the world tour 'Generation II' and received an enthusiastic response from global fans; 'bAd', which member Q participated in writing the lyrics for, which cheerfully expresses the mischievous but lovable attitude of the immature bAd boy, making it more fun to listen to; 'Slip Away', which creates a captivating mood by tensely expressing the precarious atmosphere with someone who teases you; 'Re-Wind', which is impressive for its lively and unique groove drum beat and lovely lyrics with member Eric's participation in writing the lyrics; and 'They See Me Dream', an alternative pop track with an impressive texture of dynamic vocal harmonies contrasting with the color of the muted guitar.
