South Korea's number one hip-hop artist, 'Garion', has returned with his third full-length album [Garion 3] after 14 years.Formed in 1998, the duo 'Garion' consisting of MC Meta and Nachal has established itself as a representative hip-hop group in South Korea, receiving rave reviews from critics and fans for both their first full-length album (2004) and second album (2010), winning a Korean Popular Music Award and being selected for one of the '100 Greatest Albums'.
With the production motto of 'learning from the past and learning from the new', this [Garion 3] continues the nostalgia of the previous work, while also containing the two rappers' more mature raps and new stories that had not been told for a long time, in a total of 14 tracks. In addition, Deepflow served as the general producer of the album, leading this project to a high degree of perfection over the one-year production period.
The album was rich in style with the participation of veteran and new artists such as Keep Roots, Gray, The Quiett, Mild Beats, Freddy Casso, Vian, Ian Cash, Don Sign, and 16 Levels as producers, and Tiger JK, Gaeko, Paloalto, Mynos, Hwaji, Kunta, Ttama, and Sky Minhyuk as featured artists.
Amid the popularization of hip-hop since the 2010s, the flood of TV hip-hop shows and generational changes, Garion has been gone for a long time, lasting 14 years.

대한민국 힙합의 영순위, '가리온'이 14년 만에 정규 3집 앨범 [가리온3]으로 돌아왔다.1998년에 결성된 MC메타와 나찰의 듀오 '가리온'은, 정규 1집(2004년)과 2집(2010년) 모두 평단과 팬들의 찬사를 받으며 한국 대중음악상 수상과 '100대 명반'에 선정되는 등 명실상부한 대한민국의 대표 힙합그룹으로서 자리매김해왔다.
'온고지신(溫故知新)'을 제작 모토로 삼은 이번 [가리온3]는 전작의 향수를 이어가면서도 두 래퍼의 한층 무르익은 랩, 그리고 오랜 시간 풀지 못했던 새로운 이야기들을 담아 총 14곡에 풀어냈다. 또한 앨범의 총괄 프로듀서를 딥플로우가 담당해, 1년여의 제작 기간 동안 본 프로젝트를 높은 완성도로 이끌었다.
프로듀서진으로 킵루츠, 그레이, 더 콰이엇, 마일드 비츠, 프레디 카소, 비앙, 이안 캐시, 돈 싸인, 16 레벨즈가, 피처링으로는 타이거 JK, 개코, 팔로알토, 마이노스, 화지, 쿤타, 따마, 스카이민혁 등 베테랑과 신예 아티스들이 대거 참여하며 앨범의 풍부한 멋을 선사했다.
