Aired on JTBC in 2020, <Singer Gain - The Story of an Unknown Singer> captured the hearts of those who were tired of existing audition programs. It wasn't a program full of trot or aspiring idols.

It wasn't even a high-pitched contest that uses typical practical music and style of singing. It was like a spotlight that came to musicians who trained in the dark for a long time and expressed their musical desires through various genres. Many got a chance to stand in front of the public again. After the broadcast ended, social media was covered with messages cheering for the unknown singer he discovered.

Seungyoon Han was one of them.

Although he did not make it to the top 10, his attractive appearance and clear voice were enough weapons to put an end to his long obscurity.

Han Seung-yoon stepped into the music world in 2012 as a vocalist for the band Lunafly. The band music scene at the time was in a period of stagnation after a renaissance in the late 2000s. As the mobile environment has become more common, the era of excessive distribution of information has arrived. Rather, the number of talented bands receiving attention has decreased. Released in 2013, Lunafly's only full-length album contained music with a level of maturity compared to the members' ages. 2020년 JTBC에서 방영된 <싱어게인-무명가수전>은 기존 오디션 프로그램에 질려버린 이들의 마음을 사로잡았다. 트로트 아니면 아이돌 지망생들로 가득 찬 프로그램이 아니었다.

전형적인 실용음악과 스타일의 창법을 구사하는, 고음 경연 대회도 아니었다. 오랜 시간 스스로 음지에서 수련하고, 자신의 음악적 욕망을 다양한 장르를 통해 표출하는 음악인들에게 찾아온 스포트라이트 같은 것이었다. 많은 이들이 다시 대중 앞에 설 수 있는 기회를 얻었다. 방송이 끝난 후의 SNS는 자신이 발견한 무명 가수를 응원하는 글로 뒤덮이곤 했다.

한승윤도 그중 하나였다.

비록 톱 10에 들지는 못했지만 매혹적인 외모와 자신의 뚜렷한 목소리는 오랜 무명 시절에 마침표를 찍기 충분한 무기였다.
