Infinite, which will make a comeback through Asia's largest showcase held in Japan on May 19, Taiwan on May 20, and Korea on May 21, 2014, is the first full-length album released in three years, so the best staff who made Infinite gathered together and worked hard. to complete the album. Sweet Tune, the producing team that produced hit songs such as ‘The Chaser’ and ‘Man in Love’, composer Jay Yoon, who created the most INFINITE-like music color such as ‘Tic toc’, and music directors such as Rphabet, who made ‘Destiny’, We gathered for [Season 2], and all the front lines were prepared, including stylist Kim Su-nam and photographer Kim Je-won, as well as the staff for the best visuals. It was a large-scale project in which 34 songs were recorded and mixed. Among those 34 songs, a total of 13 songs were included in the regular 2nd album [Season 2], and preparations for the album were intense enough to sound like a joke that the rest of the songs alone would be enough to release an album for about 2 years. If the activities from 'Come Back Again' to 'Destiny' are defined as [Season 1], the album opens with 'Season 2', the intro song that defines the new beginning of the album [Season 2]. The title song 'Last Romeo', like Infinite's signature track created by Sweet Tune, expresses the most dynamic and heartbreaking emotions at the same time through genre-style crossover. It contains "the world's last romanticist" who gave up everything for love. The proportion of mechanical sounds such as drum machines and synthesizers was lowered, and Infinite's unique color was completed through actual sound input by a large number of people such as drums, bass, guitar, brass, and strings.

'Follow me' is an impressive song with the soft melody and lovely vocals at the beginning, and the vocals of each member gradually becoming stronger and brighter. 'Rocinante' perfectly harmonizes manly lyrics with strong and charismatic voices of INFINITE. 'Let's Take a Breath' is a groove dance song with funky guitar and bass on top of retro synths and rhythms. It marks the end of the album [Season 2] that has been running non-stop with a dance track that makes it impossible to let go of the tension. In addition, the album contains solo songs by Infinite Sunggyu and Woohyun, as well as new songs by Infinite H, who set a new standard for units with 'Speical Girl' in 2013, and Infinite F, which made a sensation even before their debut by debuting at the encore concert of the last world tour, to expand the spectrum. add up Sunggyu's solo song 'Light' shows a different level of music from the music he has shown through his solo so far. Infinite H's 'Alone' is a track created by producer Rphabet, with Dongwoo and Hoya directly completing the rap making, adding more meaning to it. 2014년 5월 19일 일본, 20일 대만을 거쳐 21일 대한민국에서 펼쳐지는 아시아 최대 규모의 쇼케이스를 통해 컴백하는 인피니트는 3년 만에 발매되는 정규 앨범인 만큼 그 동안 인피니트를 만든 최고의 스탭들이 모여 심혈을 기울여 앨범을 완성했다. ‘추격자’, ‘Man in Love’ 등의 히트곡을 만든 프로듀싱팀 스윗튠, ‘Tic toc’ 등 가장 인피니트다운 음악 색깔을 만들어 낸 작곡가 제이윤과 ‘Destiny’를 만든 Rphabet 등의 음악감독진이 인피니트의 [Season 2]를 위해 뭉쳤고 스타일리스트 김수남과 포토그래퍼 김제원 등 최고의 비주얼을 위한 스탭까지 모든 전열이 준비되었다. 마지막으로 타이틀 곡 ‘Last Romeo’의 뮤직비디오를 위해 비주얼 아티스트 룸펜스가 합류하며 마지막 힘을 보탰다. 룸펜스는 3D 프로젝션 매핑으로 세계적으로 이름을 날리며 최근 조용필, 비 등의 뮤직비디오를 만들었다.

작년 하반기 월드투어 ‘One Great Step’으로 가장 정신 없이 바쁜 와중에 킥오프된 [Season 2]의 작업은 3년만에 나오는 정규 앨범인만큼 멤버들과 스탭들이 모두 머리를 맞대고 새로운 컨셉에 대해 고민을 시작하였고 총 34곡이 녹음되고 믹스까지 완료되는 대규모 프로젝트로 진행되었다. 그 34곡 가운데 정규 2집 [Season 2]에는 총 13개의 곡이 실렸으며 나머지 곡만으로도 2년 정도는 충분히 앨범을 낼 수 있다는 우스개 소리가 나올 만큼 치열한 앨범 작업 준비였다. ‘다시 돌아와’를 시작으로 ‘Destiny’까지의 활동을 [Season 1]이라고 규정짓는다면 앨범 [Season 2]의 새로운 시작을 규정짓는 인트로 곡 ‘Season 2’로 앨범의 포문을 연다. 타이틀 곡 ‘Last Romeo’는 스윗튠이 만든 인피니트의 시그니처 트랙답게 장르적인 크로스오버를 통해 가장 숨이 턱끝까지 차오를 만큼 다이내믹하면서도 애절한 감정을 동시에 표현한다. 사랑을 위해 모든 것을 내던진 “이 세상 가장 마지막 로맨티스트”를 담아냈다. 드럼 머신이나 신디사이저 같은 기계음의 비중을 낮추고 드럼, 베이스, 기타, 브라스, 스트링 등의 대규모 인원이 투입된 실제 사운드를 통해 인피니트만의 색깔을 완성시켰다.
