Embracing all the sadness, let's go back to tomorrow [CLOVER Part 2.0]

The final piece of the third full-length album project of Na Sang-hyun Band, which was carried out to celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary, [CLOVER Part 2.0] has been released. The story of [CLOVER Part 1.0], which looked back on the team’s early days by “going back to that time” out of fear of facing the future, has now reached the present and is telling us to “go forward to tomorrow again.”

[Desk], which tells a story in a calm manner over various sampled sounds, asks about the changes in oneself over time. The past selves seemed better and happier, but the me of then and the me of now are not much different, and in the fact that there have always been times of worries and questions, the following song [Friend] says that even the present sadness and pain will become friends and move forward together.

The title track [CLOVER], which follows after accepting the present as it is, looks back on the steps of Na Sang-hyun's band and the story of this regular album, and focuses on the present "us" who have always been together no matter what the situation is. The message that it doesn't matter "what it looks like" shows their solidarity and comfort once again. [:00], which decorates the end of the album, brings back the theme of [:59], which was the intro track of [CLOVER Part 0.5], and declares that even in the uncertainty of that time, they will now move forward toward tomorrow. The past melodies of Na Sang-hyun's band, which lead to the guitar solo in the latter half of the song, wrap up the album by wrapping up the 10 years of Na Sang-hyun's band.

Currently, the official logo of Na Sang-hyun's band is a three-leaf clover. Even if it is not a four-leaf clover that everyone notices and stands out, when we are together, regardless of the shape, can't we be "happy" like the flower language of the three-leaf clover? This is how the third regular album [CLOVER] began. I hope that everyone can find comfort in the story of the album, which looks back on the past days to avoid facing an uncertain tomorrow, and through this process, strengthens the will to move forward again toward tomorrow.

슬픔도 모두 안고 다시 내일로 [CLOVER Part 2.0]

결성 10주년을 맞이하여 진행된 나상현씨밴드의 정규 3집 프로젝트의 마지막 조각인 [CLOVER Part 2.0]이 공개되었다. 앞을 마주하기 두려워 “다시 그때로” 돌아가 팀의 초창기 모습부터 돌아봤던 [CLOVER Part 1.0]의 이야기는 어느새 현 시점에 닿아 “다시 내일로” 나아가자고 말한다.

다양한 샘플링 사운드 위로 덤덤하게 이야기를 전하는 [책상]은 시간에 따른 자신의 변화에 대해 묻는다. 과거의 모습들은 더 좋아보이고 행복해보였지만 그때의 나와 지금의 나는 크게 다를 바가 없고 늘 고민과 질문의 시간들이 함께했다는 사실 속에서 이어지는 곡 [친구]에서는 지금의 슬픔과 아픔까지도 친구가 되어 같이 나아가겠다고 말한다.

현재를 그 자체로 받아들인 모습 이후 이어지는 타이틀 곡 [CLOVER]는 그간 나상현씨밴드의 행보와 이번 정규 앨범의 이야기를 모두 되돌아보며, 어느 상황이든 늘 함께 있었던 지금의 “우리”에 집중한다. “어떤 모양이든 그대로” 상관 없다는 메시지는 그들만의 연대와 위로를 다시금 보여준다. 앨범의 마무리를 장식하는 [:00]은 [CLOVER Part 0.5]의 인트로 트랙이었던 [:59]의 테마를 다시 가져와 그때의 불확실함 속에서도 이제는 다시 내일로 나아갈 것임을 선언한다. 곡의 후반부 기타솔로로 이어지는 나상현씨밴드의 지난 멜로디들은 10년 간의 나상현씨밴드를 갈무리하며 앨범을 마무리한다.

현재 나상현씨밴드의 공식 로고는 세잎클로버다. 모두가 주목하고 돋보이는 네잎클로버가 아니더라도 함께 있을 때는 모양과 상관없이 세잎클로버의 꽃말처럼 “행복”할 수 있지 않을까하는 질문을 던지며 정규 3집 [CLOVER]는 시작되었다. 불안한 내일을 마주하기 싫어 지난 날들을 돌아보고, 이 과정을 통해 다시 내일로 나아갈 의지를 다지는 앨범의 이야기 속에서 모두가 각자의 위로를 얻어갈 수 있기를 바란다.
