Remake project 'Rewind: Blossom' cassette tape released!

'Rewind: Blossom', a collaboration between Stone Music Entertainment, KT, and Genie Music, was released between the 1990s and the early 2000s, and has been loved by many musicians of the present era. A total of 8 songs were released over two days on March 12th and March 26th. Unlike general albums, it is expected to bring back memories of the past by releasing actual albums only on cassette tapes rather than CDs, while providing a different kind of analog fun to the MZ generation who are familiar with digital.

The first title song of 'Rewind: Blossom' is 'Doll', a collaboration between Baekhyun and Doyoung. 'Doll', released in 2001, was a hit song written and composed by singer-songwriter Kangta and sung by Lee Ji-hoon and Shin Hye-sung.

Among them, Baekhyun and Doyoung, who are considered top idol vocalists, are raising expectations by revealing that they will reinterpret 'doll' with a new sensibility in about 20 years. Stone Music Entertainment, KT, 지니뮤직이 협업한 'Rewind : Blossom'은 1990년대~2000년대 초반 사이 발매되어 당시는 물론 지금까지 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 명곡을 현 시대를 대표하는 뮤지션들이 대거 참여하여 그들만의 감성으로 재해석하여 리메이크하는 프로젝트로, 오는 3월 12일, 3월 26일 이틀에 걸쳐 총 8곡을 발매했다. 일반적인 앨범들과 다르게 CD가 아닌 카세트 테이프로만 실물 앨범을 출시하며 과거의 추억을 되살리는 동시에, 디지털에 익숙한 MZ세대에게는 아날로그의 색다른 재미를 선사할 것으로 예상된다.

'Rewind : Blossom'의 첫번째 타이틀곡은 백현과 도영이 호흡을 맞춘 '인형'이다. 2001년 발표된 '인형'은 싱어송라이터 강타가 작사, 작곡하고, 이지훈, 신혜성이 불러 히트한 곡으로, 절친 가수들의 색다른 콜라보레이션 작품이라는 점에서 당시 많은 팬들의 인기를 한 몸에 받은 노래다.
