달샤벳의 새 미니앨범 [JOKER IS ALIVE]는 달샤벳의 막내 수빈이 작곡가 겸 프로듀서로 첫걸음을 딛는 앨범이다. 수빈은 1년 3개월간의 공백기 동안 음악 하나에만 전념해 작곡가이자 친구인 심재훈, 이수민과 걸그룹 최초로 프로듀서를 맡아 미니 앨범에 수록된 5곡을 작사, 작곡, 편곡한 앨범을 완성했다. 달샤벳에 대해 가장 잘 알고 있는 그룹 멤버가 프로듀서로 앨범을 만들어 그 어떤 앨범보다 가장 달샤벳다운 앨범이라 할 수 있다.
