이번 앨범 [Be ordinary]는 타이틀곡 '매일 듣는 노래(A Daily Song)'을 포함한 총 7가지의 음악으로 구성되어 있으며, 평범한 일상에서 누구나 공감할 수 있는 감정과 경험들을 음악에 잘 새겨 담았다. 사람마다 각자 지나온 발자취가 있는데 그런 발자취에 대한 생각을 해볼 수 있고 과거회상을 할 수 있는 부분들이 가사에 잘 녹아있어 음악을 들으며 가사를 음미한다면 그의 음악을 함께 공감할 수 있을 것이다. ‘황치열’이라는 이름만 들어도 떠오르는 명품 보이스와 화려한 무대매너만큼 모든 트랙을 풍성하고 다채롭게 구성하여 전 트랙의 음악적 밸런스를 고려한 종합선물세트와 같은 느낌을 준다.
