Five girls who fit together like a puzzle stood at a new starting line and put forward the name ARTMS.
At first, ARTMS was not a group name, but a program name to go into orbit, but as if by fate, they were bound together as ARTMS. ARTMS, a group made up of girls who could each pursue independent solo activities, but who could shine even brighter when combined, including HeeJin, HaSeul, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry, quietly and secretly made new preparations.

The first project is to restart ODD EYE CIRCLE.

Starting with the girls' independent music called 'Girl Front', the girls who have pioneered the most unique style in K-POP history have gathered again and started preparing an album. The first song they gathered in the recording studio to work on was 'Lucid'.
It wasn't planned as a fan song, but it's a frequency that's quietly sent to those who've been waiting for ODD EYE CIRCLE. A voice that's enough to announce that the story that made girls dream a long time ago is starting again.

The title track was a fierce competition between two candidates. The song that was chosen as the title is 'Air Force One' of the Jersey Club genre. It is music that contains the new style of ODD EYE CIRCLE, but also preserves the girls' healthy footsteps. G.high, who created 'Butterfly' and 'Uncover', met the girls after a long time as producer. Working with a producer who knows the colors and strengths of Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry better than anyone else was done in an instant, transcending time. In particular, Kim Lip's participation in the work made the lyrics more lively.

The feeling of taking off the Converse, which was the symbol of ODD EYE CIRCLE, and putting on new shoes. And the feeling of looking down from the sky like Air Force One, the presidential plane. It has ambiguous meanings, but in the end, it is a story of growth of girls who have risen to the next level. So we tie our shoelaces and Do It again.

'Je Ne Sais Quoi' was produced by BADD, the music director of Mode House who also created 'favOriTe' and 'Rosy'. 'Je Ne Sais Quoi', which means "too good to describe" in French, is a song that captures feelings of being drawn in for no reason. It contains ODD EYE CIRCLE's signature luxurious and stylish beats, making it a gift enough for fans who have been waiting for new music to be updated. And producer Park So-hyun of junior group triple S, who grew up listening to ODD EYE CIRCLE's music, participated in the song.

Also, the album needed a sweet song, but I didn't want it to be an overly sweet song. In the end, the song that was chosen was 'Love Me Like'. It's a candy-like song, but rather than a sweet candy, it's a candy with an ODD taste. Moreover, this song is enough to enjoy the vocal balance of Kim Lip, Jinsol, and Choerry. ODD EYE CIRCLE is not a vocal group, but you can enjoy the harmony of each other's voices more than any other vocal team.

The intro song 'Have You Been Waiting?' was the last song to be completed after the album preparations were almost finished. The girls responded with the same words to the fans who had waited for ODD EYE CIRCLE for 7 years. "We've been waiting too."

퍼즐처럼 맞춰진 다섯명의 소녀들이 새로운 출발선에 섰고 ARTMS라는 이름을 내걸었다.
처음 ARTMS는 그룹 이름이 아닌 궤도로 가기 위한 프로그램의 이름이었지만 운명처럼 ARTMS로 결속되어 갔다. 희진, 하슬, 김립, 진솔, 최리까지 각자 독립적인 솔로 활동을 할 수 있으면서도 합쳐지면 더 빛이 날 수 있는 소녀들이 모여 만든 ARTMS라는 집단은 조용히 그리고 비밀스럽게 새로운 준비들을 해 나갔다.

첫 번째 프로젝트는 ODD EYE CIRCLE을 재가동하는 일.

'Girl Front'라는 소녀들의 주체적인 음악으로 시작해 K-POP 역사상 가장 유니크한 스타일을 선점했던 소녀들이 다시 모여 앨범을 준비하기 시작했고. 처음으로 녹음실에 모여 작업했던 곡은 'Lucid' 였다.
팬 송으로 계획된 것은 아니지었지만 ODD EYE CIRCLE을 기다려줬던 사람들에게 나지막히 보내는 주파수. 아주 오래전 소녀들을 꿈꾸게 했던 그 이야기가 다시 시작되는 것을 알리기에 충분한 목소리.

타이틀 곡은 두 곡의 후보를 두고 각축을 다투었다. 타이틀로 결정된 곡은 Jersey Club 장르의 'Air Force One' ODD EYE CIRCLE의 새로운 스타일을 담고 있으면서도 소녀들의 건강한 발걸음이 간직된 음악. 'Butterfly'와 'Uncover' 등을 만든 G.high가 오랜만에 프로듀싱을 맡아 소녀들을 만났다. 김립, 진솔, 최리의 색깔과 장점을 누구보다 잘 알고 있는 프로듀서와의 작업은 시간을 뛰어넘어 순식간에 이루어졌다. 특히 김립이 작업에 참여하며 더욱 가사를 생기있게 다듬어 냈다.

ODD EYE CIRCLE의 상징이었던 컨버스를 벗고 새로운 신발을 신게 된 마음가짐. 그리고 대통령 전용 비행기인 에어포스원처럼 하늘 위에서 내려다보는 기분. 중의적인 의미를 담고 있지만 결국 관통하는 것은 한 단계 올라선 소녀들의 성장 이야기. 그래서 우린 신발끈 묶고 다시 Do It.

'Je Ne Sais Quoi'는 'favOriTe'과 'Rosy'를 만들었던 모드하우스의 음악 감독 BADD가 작업에 참여했다. 프랑스어로 “형용할 수 없을 만큼 좋다”는 뜻을 가진 'Je Ne Sais Quoi'는 이유없이 끌리는 감정을 노래에 담았다. ODD EYE CIRCLE 특유의 고급스럽고 스타일리쉬한 비트가 담겨져 있어 새로운 음악이 업데이트 되기만 기다려 왔던 팬들에게 선물이 되기에 충분하다. 그리고 ODD EYE CIRCLE의 음악을 듣고 자란 후배 그룹 tripleS의 프로듀서 박소현이 곡에 참여했다.

또한 앨범엔 달콤한 노래가 필요했지만 그렇다고 뻔하디 뻔한 달콤한 음악은 아니길 바랬던 마음. 결국 선택된 곡은 'Love Me Like'였다. 사탕 같은 곡이지만 달콤한 사탕이라기 보단 ODD한 맛의 사탕. 게다가 이 곡은 김립, 진솔, 최리의 보컬 밸런스를 즐기기에 충분하다. ODD EYE CIRCLE은 보컬 그룹은 아니지만 그 어떤 보컬 팀보다 조화로운 서로의 목소리를 만끽할 수 있다.

소녀들의 비밀스러운 플레이리스트 곡. 'My Secret Playlist'는 처음엔 잘 알아차리기 어려워도 듣다보면 사람들이 좋아하는 Pop 음악의 제목들과 가사들로 콜라쥬되어 있어 재미를 갖는다. 또 당신의 플레이리스트에도 ODD EYE CIRCLE의 새로운 곡들이 담겨져 있길 바라면서.

인트로곡 '기다렸어?'는 앨범 준비를 거의 마무리하고서 가장 마지막으로 완성된 곡. 7년 동안 ODD EYE CIRCLE을 기다려준 팬들에게 소녀들은 똑 같은 말로 대답한다. “우리도 기다렸어” 라고.
